Our Calling

Our Culture: Where Faith Becomes a Lifestyle

At Connection Church Oconee, we believe that following Jesus transforms every part of life. That transformation is reflected in how we live, serve, give, and love others. These four culture values guide us in our journey with Christ and shape the heart of our church family.

The Four Culture Values

Evangelism

Evangelism

“Saved people live sent.”

We believe that God didn’t just save us from sin—He saved us for His mission. A deep understanding of the gospel moves us to share it with others, from our neighborhoods to the nations. Living sent means we see every moment and every relationship as an opportunity to point people to Jesus.

Serving

Serving

“Every person has a purpose.”

You were created with a unique purpose in God’s Kingdom. The gospel frees us to serve others selflessly, just as Christ served us. At Connection, we help people discover their gifts and use them to make a difference in the church and the world.

Community

Community

“Real life change happens in community.”

Life is better together. We believe spiritual growth happens best in authentic relationships. Through Connect Groups, we gather in homes across the community to encourage one another, pray together, and go deeper in our faith. Church isn’t an event—it’s a family.

Generosity

Generosity

“The gospel produces generous people.”

Generosity reflects the heart of God. As we grow in Christ, we begin to live with open hands—giving our time, talents, and resources to build His Kingdom. We don’t give out of obligation, but in response to the radical generosity we’ve received through Jesus.
